Our client is recruiting for a Territory Sales Manager to cover the North in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who thrives in a varied role, which will include travel, nurturing existing clients, building relationships, presenting to clients and developing new business. You would be responsible for achieving or exceeding sales targets and customer service satisfaction through the effective selling and promotion of products.
In return our client is paying between £35,000 - £50,000 basic along with a competitive bonus structure. They also offer an attractive benefits package which includes a company car, phone, laptop, iPad, life cover and pension scheme. The working week is Monday – Friday, 9am- 5.30pm, this can be working from home, in the office along with travel and overnight stays. You will be expected to be on the road the majority of the week after planning your appointments.
If you have a scientific, medical background, worked in laboratories or nursing this would also help as the role requires a technical knowledge, and you'll be working with a range of products.
Extensive training will be provided by the team.
Responsibilities:
• Drive profitable sales growth and maximise sales revenue within the assigned territory by developing, maintaining, and advancing existing accounts and prospects through the sale and promotion of products and solutions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and provide a great customer experience by acting as a strategic business partner to existing customers within the assigned territory by focusing on customers’ growth goals
• Generate potential leads and achieve new business targets by proactively identifying, targeting, and converting prospect accounts
• Prepare and maintain business plans, sales forecasts, and a sales promotion activity. Assess and adjust the forecast when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with other members of sales team and the back-office team, for example, but not limited to a close collaboration with the Marketing department to support the execution of all marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives.
• Attend and represent the company at customer events as required, including but not limited to regional events and national trade shows.
• Effectively and efficiently leverage education events to develop existing customers, build brand loyalty and gain new customers.
Qualifications and Experience
• 3+ years of sales experience
• Full driving license and the ability to travel (domestic) to do business
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Strong oral and written communications, including presentation skills
• Able to deliver highly complex information in clear, structured, and compelling manner
• Capable of working in a collaborative manner with other team members as well as independently.
