Our local client in Harrogate is recruiting for a Sales Negotiator. You must be an enthusiastic, motivated individual, who possesses an excellent work ethic. A willingness to go above and beyond, with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced office environment is essential. Experience in the field of property would be advantageous and preferable for our client. The company value their employees, and recognition is key for them, they often have social events to ensure good team moral and reward hard work.
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls with a friendly and professional manner
- Meeting and greeting clients in the office
- Booking viewings, valuations and manage a live diary
- Registering applicant details and property requirements
- Handle daily enquires
- Provide feedback on viewings to vendors
- Negotiating and agreeing sales
- Identifying new business opportunities
Candidate Requirements:
- An excellent telephone manner
- The ideal candidate should be, friendly, confident with a passion for customer service
- Great time management and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provide a professional service to vendors and buyers
- Basic IT skills and an understanding of Microsoft office, internet, and email systems
- Some knowledge of the local area would be advantageous
- Work efficiently and calmly under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative and well within a friendly team
Hours of work
The hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm plus one Saturday in four 08.30am – 4pm. In return the salary is £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience. There is also a discretionary bonus scheme in place on an annual basis.
