Sales Administrator needed for busy sales department, based in Tockwith.
Our projects begin their journey with our Sales Team. They have an overview of projects from conception to completion, working closely with other departments to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and to our high standards. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for dealing with all administration arising from new enquiries from potential clients and recording all client data relating to opportunities from initial enquiry through to a new confirmed order. They will also support the Sales Manager by collating data relating to sales activities and business development-based research.
Key responsibilities
Monitor new enquiries and provide data to track activity against the sales process for each new opportunity
Using the internal database to record all required customer and project information
File and record all sales documentation in the relevant location
Track follow up activities on new enquiries and ensure progress is monitored
To assist in the preparation of tender documentation in line with company procedures and to ensure project quotations and tender responses are submitted in the required timescales
Track all tender opportunities and support in coordination of the relevant documentation
Maintain and update the bid library with information and reference documentation to support the tender process
Research clients and ensure company and contact information is kept up to date
Monitor sales data such as conversion rates, lost sales opportunities, source of new clients and provide reports to the sales manager for monthly operational board meetings
Follow up with clients after project completion to ensure customer satisfaction and record any client feedback
Assist in prioritising the workload and resources of the sales team in the Managers absence
At project completion stage, ensure database has all required information added in order to close out the project and move to Archive Arrange and attend weekly Sales Meetings Diarise client meetings and video calls as requested by the Sales Manager and prepare any required documentation
Preparation of the weekly sales reports every Friday for the Sales Manager Maintain updated project status within the internal system
Coordination of diaries for the complete Sales team to be completed on a weekly basis Establish and identify new systems and ways to improve the sales process
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS - A general education to include 5 GCSE passes at Grade 9-4 (A* - C) (including Maths and English), or an equivalent educational qualification, or relevant experience
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS - A university degree or college diploma in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE - experience working with numbers

Hours Monday to Friday 0800am - 5.00pm, occasional overtime may be required.
