Our client is looking for a Receptionist who can also support in an administrative capacity on a temporary, part time basis. The role is to provide an effective and efficient reception and administration service. Own transport is essential owing to location
Tasks to include but not be limited to -
1. Reception / General Admin
- Answer the telephone efficiently and effectively and transfer calls to the relevant person, take messages and pass on accordingly
- Provide refreshments to visitors and at internal meetings
- Be responsible for all room bookings for meetings, pool car booking
- Be responsible for the opening, date stamping and sorting of all incoming mail (unless personalised) and deliver mail as soon as is practically possible.
- Be responsible for all out going post
2. Health and Safety
- Ensure that you remain complaint with health and safety regulations and accepted safe practice at all times.
- Report any health and safety issues or contraventions witnessed anywhere within the business to your manager or in their absence the Health and Safety Co-ordinator or a Director.
3. General
- Assist with any general administration duties as agreed by your manager
- Comply with all policies and procedures within the company
- Carry out all duties with regard to and ensuring equal opportunity.
- Work with all employees with the company in the fulfilment of our aims
Hours of work - Thursday: 8 am-4.30 pm, Friday: 8 am-4.30 pm
Hourly rate: up to £12.43 per hour (dependent on experience)
Start date: Monday 27th of January
