Our client based in Tockwith are looking for a HR Assistant to join their team from 11th November 2024 to 21st November 2025.This role will likely be a years contract but the requirement could be subject to change depending on the business's needs.
The hours will ideally be 20 per week, 4 hours per day Mon-Fri, suggested hours will be 9.30am-1.30pm but open to flexibility. Our clients ideal candidate will have HR Admin experience, with great attention to detail, understanding of GDPR and handling sensitive and confidential information. It would also suit a candidate who has completed a HR qualification or degree. If you do not have HR experience, our client will look at candidates with a strong administration background. This will be an hourly rate of £14ph.
Other Responsibilities:
- Processing new starters, leavers and contractual changes
- Logging holidays on our internal system and ownership of the holiday inbox
-Assist with the recruitment process, including posting of job adverts, screening candidates, co-ordinating communication, scheduling interviews, conducting right to work checks, and preparing offer letters
- Recording and monitoring absences, processing absence forms
- Timesheet administration for payroll and raising purchase orders
-Booking and setting up agency workers on our internal system
-Processing annual reviews
- Inputting training records and certificates, scanning in documentation and supporting with the delivery of internal training workshops
-Drafting letters and general correspondence
-General Administration and filing
-Updating the job boards weekly
You will need to be competent on Microsoft office suite including Word, outlook and Excel.
