Main duties
- Work closely with the Group Sales Manager and S&M Director on the development and planning of and be responsible for the implementation of national account sales strategies to include sales forecasts, margin, sales targets and all KPIs (both financial and non-financial)
- Develop, negotiate and secure new National Accounts, working closely with the Group Sales Manager and S&M Director to ensure the alignment to the Company’s strategy and the agreement of favourable terms; (including that of pricing, rebates, discounts, payment terms etc); with each new National Account
- Ensure that existing National Accounts are managed to the extent of understanding their sales and marketing plans, their pricing and their content and social etc to the extent of monitoring their sites weekly if not daily, to ensure they are following the brand’s agreed strategy as well as keeping an eye out for unapproved sellers.
- Manages and owns the au-orders@ inbox account to talk to the warehouse and accounts.
- Attend, alongside the Group Sales Manager, periodic national account meetings to evaluate the delivery of agreed sales strategies and the meeting of KPIs set.
- Review and analyse sales and margin figures alongside daily retail pricing, stock holds and sell through rates; challenging trends and understanding the weekly performance of National Accounts to then summarise and report back to the Group Sales Manager and S&M Director.
- Liaise alongside the Group Sales Manager and Marketing Team, to ensure full awareness of all up and coming promotions and campaigns and to ensure these are communicated proficiently and in a timely manner to all national accounts and designated large salon groups, to align the timings and content of promotions and campaigns where possible.
- Keep up to date with products in the market and competitors of the Company
Required skills and experience
- A previous role or a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, PR or Marketing
- 2 years+ experience in e-commerce
- Knowledge of National Account Contracts, Processes and Logistics
- Experienced in Launching New Products and Promotions with National Accounts
- The ability to be a brand advocate and encourage such advocacy with key accounts
- Comfortable in delivering set objectives and KPIs
- Comfortable with negotiations and have a relentless focus on the key inputs to deliver the desired results getting the best commercial offering.
- Excellent time-keeping, time-management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise the workload to ensure all tasks are carried out effectively and deadlines are met
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- IT skills with skilled use of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Ability to work on a flexible time schedule and travel as needed
