Our client located on the very outskirts of Harrogate are looking to recruit an Administrator on a full time, permanent basis. The role will will encompass a full range of administration including raising invoices, dealing with overseas suppliers, checking all VAT and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Administration and have excellent numeracy skills. You will be required to be competent in MS packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in using CRMs' will also be an advantageous although full training will be provided.
Main responsibilities:
- Dealing with suppliers, procurement, and associated import requirements
- Preparing sales reports and raising purchase orders.
- Checking purchase orders against commercial invoices.
- Processing customs declarations and confirming VAT and duty calculations.
- Support administration team functions as these relate to procurement, sales, and accounts as directed.
- Answering phones and providing support to all areas as required
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office software applications specifically; Word/Excel/Outlook
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Time management skills to prioritise work effectively.
- Experience in general office duties
